The Hortgro Bursary Function is a meet and greet opportunity that introduces Hortgro’s bursary holders to key role players within the industry. The Hortgro undergraduate bursary fund 2022 has 33 bursary students with a total budget of R 1.78 million. These students are enrolled for agricultural qualifications in various institutions including Elsenburg, Stellenbosch University, Potchefstroom College of Agriculture, Northwest University, CPUT, Unisa and CTU Training Solutions. Most of these students’ hail from previously disadvantaged groups with 75% of our students being young women.
